Training for Intervention Procedures
Responsible Alcohol Sales Workshops
Oconee Area Resource Council will host workshops approved by the Oconee County Board of Commissioners and the Watkinsville City Council to train you, your managers and your servers in the responsible service, sale and consumption of alcohol. TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) is a nationally recognized program designed to prevent intoxication, underage drinking and drunk driving. Participants will receive a nationally recognized TIPS card once training is complete and test is processed. This card will be valid for three years.
Training Location:
Watkinsville Community Center
191 VFW Drive, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
Training will take place from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Fee Structure:
Owner/ Registered Agent $100 (Required by Ordinance)
Manager $30 (Required by Ordinance)
Servers $25 (Optional but highly recommended)
Registration and fees for training must be returned to Oconee Area Resource Council no later than one week prior to training date. One form must be returned for each individual participating.
